About 4th Street Fillin Station
It All Started With an Oak Tree
Sometimes the best ideas are the ones you never planned.
In 2018, we weren't looking to open a restaurant. We simply stumbled across a long-vacant gas station in Downtown Cocoa Beach.
Then we stepped into the backyard.
Standing there was a breathtaking 100-year-old live oak tree. The moment we saw it, we knew this place deserved a second chance. That tree became the inspiration for everything that followed.
Come experience the place where it all beganFrom Gas Station to Gathering Place
Our original vision was simple: create a neighborhood beer bar where people could enjoy great food, craft beer, and good company beneath the oak tree.
The building had other plans.
What we expected to be a small renovation became a nine-month transformation. Every corner of the property was rebuilt, restored, landscaped, and reimagined.
For nearly two years, we even continued operating the convenience store and selling gasoline.
Guests could fill their tank, grab a sandwich, and enjoy a craft beer all in one stop. It wasn't exactly conventional, but it became one of our favorite chapters in the 4th Street story.
We opened our doors in January 2019. Less than a year later, we proudly purchased the property, retired the gas pumps, and fully committed to building the gathering place we'd always imagined.
Built Around Community
Today, the backyard is the heart of 4th Street. Beneath the same oak tree that inspired this journey, guests gather around our custom-built community table for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, live music, celebrations, and everyday moments.
We've grown from smoking meats on a couple of Big Green Eggs to a professional Southern Pride smoker, expanded our menu, built one of the Space Coast's largest craft beer selections, and added handcrafted cocktails, homemade desserts, and a Dessert Bar that's become a destination of its own.
Whether you're joining us for breakfast, weekend brunch, dinner, or dessert, our goal remains the same: create a place where people genuinely enjoy spending time together.
More than a Restaurant
4th Street Fillin Station has become a favorite gathering place for locals, families, visitors, and friends.
From live music and community events to our food truck serving celebrations across the Space Coast, everything we do comes back to one idea:
Bring people together over great food and genuine hospitality.
A Note From the Founders
We never planned to build one of Cocoa Beach's favorite restaurants. We simply fell in love with an old oak tree.
Everything we've built since then has grown from that moment and from the incredible community that embraced our vision. Seeing families celebrate milestones, friends gather after work, and first-time visitors become regulars has been more rewarding than we ever imagined.
Thank you for being part of our story. We look forward to welcoming you, sharing a meal, and hopefully seeing you beneath the oak tree soon.
